If you are interested in science and education, you have a desire to give back to the community, or you want to help with a special event or project, please contact Headwaters Science Center. All employees and volunteers are subject to a background check prior to employment or volunteer service.
Headwaters Science Center is looking for new board members, especially those who have a background in Human Resources, Information Technology, K-12 Education (including charter schools), and Native American community members. The HSC Board meets the second Wednesday of the month from 5-6 pm and requires a time commitment of 5 hours/month of committee and volunteer work. If interested, please contact Annie Butler Ricks at email@example.com.
We are also looking for community members to serve on the following committees: Events Committee, Education Committee, Marketing and Fundraising Committee. Serving on a committee is a great way to give back to the HSC without the time commitment of serving on the board! If interested, please contact Annie Butler Ricks at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have many opportunities for volunteers – from light janitorial to special events, to snake holding, to harmonograph operation. If you are interested in volunteering at Headwaters Science Center, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Angie Morales to learn about different opportunities and request a volunteer application. Volunteers make a difference!
This group of volunteers was formed in December 2012 as a way to engage volunteers and longtime supporters in new ways to achieve outreach and support. Their mission is to serve as ambassadors, connecting people throughout the region to promote and expand the "Science You Can Touch" concept of Headwaters Science Center.
Anyone can be a "Friend." Please email Angie Morales to learn more about this energetic group!
