Programs and Exhibits

The HSC exhibit floor is 7,500 sq. feet and is self-guided and hands-on. Most exhibits require active participation by the visitor. Some require dexterity and/or creativity, but all result in better understanding and appreciation of scientific principles and concepts. More than 70 hands-on exhibits and a variety of animals await your visit. Stop back often, as we are constantly building and adding more exhibits. Looking to have a program or demo brought to you? Environmental Science Club

Environmental Science Club is a new program dedicated to the conservation and preservation of the local and regional environment, especially as it pertains to our aquatic resources.

It is designed to increase education and awareness of environmental issues, while we strive to improve practices within and beyond our watershed and into the community by making better environmental stewards of us all.

Students are engaged in hands-on, educationally based programs that include learning from experienced environmental professionals and then participating in professional and academic field and lab work, including monitoring and analyzing water chemistry.
